How to create folders and move files around your PC |
All PCs since 2000 should be fine but for the techies...

1.5 GHz Pentium or faster with 500MB ram with at least 5GB of hard disk space available. |
Windows XP or Vista (with the latest service packs as a rule) |
To play and edit your sound files you need some software on your PC...
A Sound Player: Your PC will have a windows sound player installed as standard and may have other players too, that is quite common. So there should be nothing to install to play sounds on your PC but you will require speakers or at least headphones. The player that comes with windows is called Media Player but there are several others that get installed along the way.
A Sound Editor: This is a more specialised program and allows you to edit the sound file you have recorded by seeing the sound as a picture (wavy line) that can be adjusted using the editor’s tool set. See Why Record Digitally in the next tutorial for more details
